When life gets too much, hiking has been Jake’s way to escape.

‘Hiking is well known for its physical benefits but it also help with mental health tremendously! From aiding in weight loss to endurance, the list of benefits is huge. What’s more is it can boost your social life too! hiking helps me disconnect from everyday worries and being overwhelmed with the pressure of the modern world. Once I’m hiking all these worries seem to fade and become a lot less worrisome and insignificant!

Connecting with Nature is a tremendous mental health benefit for me. I feel that everyone should try this for themselves and feel the sense of achievemnt of completing a day hiking. The feeling of being something much bigger than our normal everyday existene and the sense of feeling alive is something that can only be experienced! All these mental health benefits and guess what… my physical health is improving too!’
